We've been telling stories since we were kids. Remember those summer days when you were bored out of your mind, and there was nothing on the tv or kids to play with that day? What did you do?

Well, we used to grab a cassette tape and make up stories on the spot! And then we'd act them out, and even sometimes make an epic saga that would span onto multiple cassette tapes. We would play them back and just laugh. That’s where it all began.

Fast forward to 2018—Wes was almost a decade into his career as a video producer, and Erika was finishing up school to become an English teacher while preschool teaching part-time. They saw a perfect opportunity to combine passion and skill.

In 2020 The Story Room was born.
